The Summit, organized by US Indigenous Data Sovereignty Network, will be held April 11-12 in Tucson, Arizona, with virtual attendance options available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Summit \u201cwill convene Indigenous leaders, Indigenous community programs, academics, policy experts, and other data actors and rights holders from across the nation, both in person and virtually, to develop guidance around appropriate data governance structures that support Indigenous Peoples\u2019 own IDSov initiatives.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Founding Executive Director Dr. Stephany RunningHawk Johnson (Oglala Lakota Nation) and Director of Outreach &amp; Strategy Corrie Roe will present about Local Contexts in one of the Summit\u2019s sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Learn more and register on the Summit <a href=\"https:\/\/usindigenousdatanetwork.org\/us-indigenous-data-sovereignty-governance-summit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website<\/a>.
