Biocultural & Sciences Working Group Meeting

The next Biocultural & Sciences Working Group meeting will be held 8 July UTC.

For this meeting, we will host a discussion around Open Fung‘s upcoming work with the NSF-funded UC ExFAB Biofoundry. They will share about their work in mycology, and pose questions for the group to discern best practices around research ethics in the field.

This meeting will be recorded for group members, and available to stream for one month following the presentation. If you are unable to attend but have feedback or questions, please email the outreach team at outreach@localcontexts.org.

Current members of the Network should have an email and calendar invite with connection details. If you are interested in the group, you can read more and submit your interest on our Working Groups and Networks page.

The Local Contexts Biocultural and Sciences Working Group (BSWG) brings together group members who work within biocultural research and related science fields around the world who are interested in or are already using the Local Contexts system of Biocultural and Traditional Knowledge Labels and Notices.
