Northeast Network and Technical Implementation Working Group Crossover Meeting

The next Northeast Network meeting will be a crossover meeting with the Technical Implementation Working Group. The meeting will be held 8 July UTC.

For this presentation, TIWG Co-Chair Joshua Shaw will present on his work to develop a Local Contexts plugin for ArchivesSpace. This presentation will cover some of the development of the tool in some technical detail, and will reserve plenty of time for discussion in the second half of the hour.

This meeting will be recorded for group members, and available to stream for one month following the presentation. If you are unable to attend but have feedback or questions, please email the outreach team at outreach@localcontexts.org.

Current members of the Network and Working Group should have an email and calendar invite with connection details. If you are interested in the group, you can read more and submit your interest on our Working Groups and Networks page.

The Local Contexts Northeast Network brings together Indigenous community members and citizens, institution and organization staff, and others located in or with connections to the region to see how we can together support the momentum and interest for the use of the Local Contexts Labels and Notices in the region.

The Local Contexts Technical Implementation Working Group (TIWG) connects institution and data repository staff, researchers, and others for technical discussions around implementing the Local Contexts Labels and Notices within metadata and databases.
