Subscriptions Coordinator

Full-Time | Remote

As the Local Contexts Subscriptions Coordinator, you will be the key support for our subscription programs. These newly launched programs allow individuals and organizations to apply Local Contexts Notices and connect with Indigenous communities through the use of the Local Contexts Hub website. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer/client/donor relations and CRM software, an interest in working in a mission-driven organization, and an understanding of Indigenous data sovereignty and cultural heritage management, or commitment to learning.

Key Responsibilities

Working collaboratively across our organization, you will support subscribers with inquiries and processing subscriptions in a timely manner. In addition to coordinating efforts with our team, you will also collaborate with Indigenous community staff and representatives, institution staff, integration partner staff, and individual researchers.

Subscriber Growth and Support

  • Manage communications and workflows to onboard new subscribers and renew existing subscriptions utilizing Salesforce, email, and calls.
  • Develop and nurture ethical, respectful, and responsive relationships with potential and existing subscribers.
  • Accurately and clearly represent Local Contexts’ mission, programs, and use.
  • Collaborate with the Local Contexts team to organize and facilitate meetings, trainings, and presentations.

Internal Systems Support and Database Maintenance

  • Maintain comprehensive and timely records of interactions and communications with potential and existing subscribers using CRM systems.
  • Prepare and present reports and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with the Local Contexts team to identify and address needs for the Local Contexts community and Hub website.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and training.

Qualifications

  • Required experience
    • At least 2+ years of experience configuring and managing a Salesforce platform. Equivalent experience with other CRMs will be considered.
    • Experience in building automations and optimizing workflows between systems. Experience in utilizing APIs with Salesforce or another CRM is a plus. 
    • Proficiency in building custom reports and dashboards in Salesforce or other CRM, and data analysis using Excel/Google Sheets.
    • Demonstrated collaboration and communication skills with customers, clients, and/or donors.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at once.
    • Experience with Google Drive (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
    • Experience with scheduling platforms (such as Calendly, when2meet) and best practices.
    • Familiarity with team communication and task management platforms (such as Slack, ClickUp).

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range: $65,000 – $69,000 USD

We operate as a fully virtual-office organization and our remote team works cohesively across the globe. The workweek is generally Monday through Friday. Employees negotiate hours with their manager, ensuring at least three hours of overlap. 

Employees receive medical benefits and a retirement plan. In addition, we utilize a flexible-time-off policy. Rather than allocating employees separate amounts of time off for sick, vacation and personal days, we provide unlimited time off to give employees greater flexibility to meet their personal needs, subject to managerial approval.
