Indigenous Research Ethics in a Digital World

On January 18-20, Trent University Chanie Wenjack School for Indigenous Studies is hosting a free, virtual symposium, “Indigenous Research Ethics in a Digital World.”

Local Contexts co-director Māui Hudson will speak with Dr. Robyn Rowe (Anishinaabe-kwe, Health Data Research Network Canada, ICES) and Kristine Neglia (Curve Lake First Nation, First Nations Information Governance Centre) on day 3 as part of “Building a Foundation for Indigenous Data Sovereignty: An International Movement.” The session will explore national and international perspectives, with a focus on the Global Indigenous Data Alliance (GIDA).
