Local Contexts’ Member, Subscriber, and Integration Partner (previously Service Provider) programs were developed to support Local Contexts’ mission, governance, and sustainability. Our goal is to create multi-generational resources that support Indigenous data sovereignty. This model acknowledges power imbalances between Indigenous communities and institutions and organizations that hold Indigenous cultural and other heritage, genetic resources, and knowledge.
