Local Contexts will be presenting a virtual pre-event webinar for GLAMhack23, the Swiss OpenGLAM data hackathon.
On September 13 at 18:00 CEST (12 pm EDT), Co-Director Jane Anderson and Outreach Manager Corrie Roe will present an introduction to Local Contexts’ digital labeling system for collections and cultural heritage.
GLAMhack annually “brings together cultural institutions, software developers, digital humanists, artists, Wikipedians and other interested parties to promote openness among galleries, libraries, archives and museums (GLAM). … This edition focuses on colonial collections, provenance research, as well as the application of the FAIR and CARE principles in data governance.”
