Research Data Alliance 23rd Plenary Meeting

On November 14, Local Contexts’ Operations Manager Laure Haak, and Software Developer Ashley Rojas, along with World Data System International Technology Office’s Associate Director Reyna Jenkyns, will present a breakout session, “Implementing CARE Principles: Indigenous Data Governance using the Local Contexts Hub,” at Research Data Alliance 23rd Plenary Meeting, held in San José, Costa Rica and online.

This session extends CARE presentations and discussions held at IDW2023, and builds upon the work of the RDA International Indigenous Data Sovereignty Interest Group. The goal is for participants to get a fuller understanding of the capabilities of Local Contexts, particularly with respect to implementation of CARE principles, and how it is being integrated into downstream applications, so that repository staff can see its full potential.

See more details about the session and how to attend on the RDA website.
