ATALM 2024
Some of the Local Contexts team will be presenting and attending the 2024 International Conference of Indigenous Archives, Libraries, and Museums (ATALM 2024) in Palm Springs, California, USA.
The preliminary schedule includes multiple opportunities to hear about Local Contexts and the work of our Council, including:
- Local Contexts: Tools for Sharing and Protecting Digital Heritage (half-day workshop)
- Practical Approaches to Protecting Indigenous Languages (session)
- Local Contexts: Supporting Indigenous Cultural Authority and Data Sovereignty (session)
- Traditional Cultural Expressions and Traditional Knowledge in the International Sphere (session)
- Coe Center for Arts: Ethical Engagement and Community Collaboration (speed session)
The early bird registration rate is open until August 15, though the conference may sell out before then.
