Supporting Indigenous Data: Introducing the Traditional Knowledge and Biocultural Labels

Register to attend the next People, Plants and the Law online lecture from the University of Queensland School of Law to be held May 17, 9 am AEST (May 16, 7 pm EDT). The lecture series explores the legal and lively entanglements of human and botanical worlds.

Co-Directors Jane Anderson and Māui Hudson will present “Supporting Indigenous Data: Introducing the Traditional Knowledge and Biocultural Labels,” exploring the responsibilities that universities and researchers have to practically implement mechanisms that enable transparency around Indigenous rights and interests in support of Indigenous data sovereignty.
