As a Māori social scientist, I look at how Indigenous people can access and benefit from science and technology through new systems of inclusion. I am located in a Business School at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand where I direct the Te Maea research group. I’m a Director on Te Whai Ao Dodd Wall Centre of Research Excellence investigating photonics and quantum technologies. I’m a former Enrich Global Chair and am a member of the Ice Preservation Institute developing a geo-engineering project to mitigate climate change.
