Living Data 2025

Members of the Local Contexts team will present a workshop and symposium in-person in Bogotá, Colombia, as part of Living Data 2025.

Living Data 2025 is a joint conference of Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG), Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF), Ocean Biodiversity Information System (OBIS), and Group on Earth Observations Biodiversity Observation Network (GEO BON).

The Local Contexts workshop, “Understanding Indigenous data provenance, the CARE Principles, and Local Contexts,” and symposium, “Indigenous Data Provenance, Local Contexts, and the CARE Principles for Indigenous Data Governance,” will include presentations of case studies from around the world.
