Film screening at NYU Love Data Week

As a part of Love Data Week at NYU, NYU Libraries will screen E Kore Au E Ngaro | The Connection Remains and host a discussion with filmmakers Andreas Burgess and Jane Anderson, Local Contexts Co-Founder and Strategic Advisor.

E Kore Au E Ngaro is a short documentary film by Local Contexts and the Māori Iwi Whakatōhea. The film shows how Whakatōhea have implemented Biocultural Labels and Notices to address histories of colonial extraction as well as the challenges presented by open access datasets.

This event is co-sponsored by the NYU School of Law Library and NYU Center CIRCL.

For registration and more information, see the NYU Libraries website.
