Hawai’i Network meeting
We are excited to share about our first Local Contexts Hawai’i Network meeting of the year. We are scheduling the virtual gathering for Tuesday, March 10, 12 pm HST / 8 pm UTC. For this meeting, we plan to re-introduce our two-group approach––a community-focused Network and institution/researcher-focused Network (with optional crossover for members wearing multiple hats). We will review the purpose of these groups, allowing space and time for input on shared goals. We also hope to hear topics of interest and ideas for presentations to help us shape future meetings in 2026.
The purpose of the Local Contexts Hawai’i Network is to connect Native Hawaiian Organizations, institution and organization staff, researchers, and others located in / with ties to Hawai’i to see how we can together support momentum for Local Contexts in the region through regular virtual meetings.
