Indigenous Communities Working Group meeting
The next Local Contexts Indigenous Communities Working Group will be held May 7 (UTC).
For this meeting, we will host a presentation by Monique Tyndall (Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans (Citizen), Umoⁿhoⁿ, Mvskoke), a new member of the Local Contexts team serving as Outreach Coordinator (CBIKS). In their previous role as Director of Cultural Affairs for the Stockbridge-Munsee Band of Mohicans, Monique applied Labels to a medicinal garden in their Homeland and on related exhibition materials. Monique will plan to share about this collaborative project, and we will save time for questions and discussions.

The Local Contexts Indigenous Communities Working Group (ICWG) brings together Indigenous community members and Indigenous community staff internationally to support communities who are either using or interested in using the Local Contexts Traditional Knowledge and Biocultural Labels.
