Virtual Seminar on Promoting and Protecting the Arts and Cultural Expressions of Indigenous Peoples

Earlier this week, Institution Outreach Manager Corrie Roe and Community Outreach Manager Felicia Garcia presented for “Virtual Seminar on Promoting and Protecting the Arts and Cultural Expressions of Indigenous Peoples: Perspectives on the Canadian Experience,” hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) and Canada. Their presentation, which was supported by Dr. Jane Anderson, provided a brief introduction to Local Contexts systems within the broader context of intellectual property Indigenous data sovereignty. We’ll be sure to share the link once the recording and slides are available online!
