Indigenous Communities Working Group meeting

The next Indigenous Communities Working Group meeting will be held September 2 UTC.

For this meeting, we will focus on Hub demonstration of Label customization and adding a community boundary. We will also highlight information about our new membership program, where communities can opt-in to participate in the governance of Local Contexts.

Current members of the Working Group should have an email and calendar invite with connection details. If you are interested in the group, you can read more and submit your interest on our Working Groups and Networks page.

The Indigenous Communities Working Group (ICWG) brings together Indigenous community members and Indigenous community staff internationally to share experiences related to using the Local Contexts Traditional Knowledge and Biocultural Labels. Meetings include members sharing their experiences customizing and using the Traditional Knowledge and Biocultural Labels, group discussions around Local Contexts and the Hub, Local Contexts updates and feedback, and more.
